Can you help us create a better website?

As part of IMRF's Strategic Plan, we are planning to improve our website.  Our goal is to develop a new website based on the needs of our employers, and we would like our employers' help to identify those needs.

Specifically, we are asking for employer volunteers to participate in a 90-minute focus group to be held Friday, July 19 in Naperville, Illinois. Lunch will be held at 12:30 p.m., and the focus group will begin at 1:00 p.m.

We have a few spots left. If you would like to participate, please contact IMRF Communications Manager Linda Horrell at 630-368-5375 or [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email with details about the location of the focus group.

Your responses will provide us with valuable insight that will be used to develop a superior website experience for all IMRF employers.

Employer Access How To:
Your IMRF Account Balance

When you submit a monthly wage report to IMRF, we provide you with the amount you owe for the current wage reporting period. However, you may find that this amount is actually more or less than you actually owe -- due to adjustments, over- or under-payments, or charge and credit advices.

To ensure that you are submitting the correct payment to IMRF, you should check your current account balance in Employer Access. You can view your IMRF account balance at any time by looking under Payments: "Display Account Balance" from the Employer Access homepage.

On this Account Balance page, you will see the current account balance (displayed at the top of the page), along with a detail of all payments and charges to your IMRF account, including details of any charge or credit advices.

Don't forget to inform IMRF of your chosen 2014 employer rate

In April 2013, IMRF provided all employers with a preliminary rate notice via the Employer Access Document archive. Some of you were given a choice at that time between the ARC rate and an optional phase-in rate.

If your employer was presented with this option, you have until August 31, 2013, to select the 2014 ARC contribution rate. If we do not hear from you before this date, we will assume your employer has chosen the optional phase-in rate.

If your preliminary rate notice did not include this option, no action is needed on your part.
